Grumeti Reserves, Tanzania

Grumetio Reserves in Tanzania is luxury taken to the utmost. There are just three camps, sleeping a maximum of 56 guests, and only these visitors have access to the 350,000 acres of grassy plains bordering the Serengeti.
The Reserves have their own helipad, 16 polo and thoroughbred horses, a spa, tennis courts, and even a croquet lawn.

Each of the lodges offer a unique experience: Sasakwa Lodge positioned on Sasakwa Hill, presents dramatic, elevated views across the endless plains, Sabora Tented Camp celebrates flat open space as far as the eye can see and Faru Faru Lodge is tucked away in a diverse habitat.

The Sasakwa Lodge is built in the style of a colonial home - think glossy wooden parquet floors, antiques, grand art, Persian silk carpets and silver, and a private infinity pool with every room.

The Sabora camp, on the plains, is the ultimate in luxury camping. Tents are lined with raw silk, scattered with Persian rugs, and beautiful accessories such as wind-up gramophones and silver hand mirrors.
